It is a laboratory, it is a place to meet, it’s a salon, but mostly it is a startup. Born in Rome, CRH Termini, a reality aimed at a young target where you can experiment services, initiatives and innovative management of a ContestaRockHair salon.

The international brand of Hairstyles launches a new concept of salon within Yellow Square, cutting edge hostel in the area, located in the heart of the city of Rome, expanding with its twenty-year award experience, a true crossroads for young travelers, between 18 and 30 years, from all over the world.

Yellow Square is where this boundary space was born, where the innovative and nonconformist spirit of ContestaRockHair will be able to be, indeed a service for guests of the hostel, but at the same time become an incubator of ideas, where new projects will be launched.

Animated by this spirit, the brand has chosen six Roman young trendsetters – different in background and lifestyle – selected to tell the adventure of CRH HUB. Alison Bizzi, Etta Page, Paula Ling Yi Sun, Giacomo Giorgi, Nicolo’ Benvenuto and Pasquale Desantis will be ContestaRockHair’s ambassadors in the capital and on the web. They, the facilitators between the travelers and the “locals”, six different and innovative reference points, all to create a new cross-mapping of urban culture.

The six “ambassadors” of CRH HUB will create a personal map of their own vision of the most innovative trends, creative movements that animate the city and of experiences that shall not to be missed. Theirs will be an unprecedented interpretation of the Capital: unusual “guidance” of Rome – posted on the web available to everyone – which will offer new suggestions for both travelers and Romans.

CRH HUB will have a primarily target of 25 years and under.

Working days will be from Monday to Saturday, from 11:00 to 20:00.

We will offer services and pricing perfectly in line with the communication between young people, and among the new features there will also be a Tattoo lab and a beauty department.

Edward Regan is an avid Street Photographer located in South Florida. The inner city provides him with the creative medium that warrants his devotion to record life on the streets. The sea of movement is the inspiration, and flow of everyday people and their resolve of urban life is the key attraction. His multifaceted complex imagery messages a story telling of the realism of everyday life. He has a unique ability to see and connect with the eclectic melting pot of subject matter in front him. When viewing Ed’s work, you will see the passion that forges an intense connection with his subjects; this allows him to photograph all the subtle nuances that are the heartbeat of the streets. Capturing a stranger’s face or unconventional behavior is true excitement for him. A single picture tells the complete story; the observer will feel like they are there, an arm’s length away from being in the streets themselves. Russian writer Ivan Turgenev wrote “A picture shows me at a glance what takes dozens of pages of a book to expound” while Confucius coined the phrase “A picture is worth ten thousand words”. Ed is certain Confucius meant this phrase for Street Photography. Take a moment to view and enjoy his Black & White Artistry!

“Before I Die” (BID) is an open-call project created by Candy Chang, a contemporary American-based artist whose main passion is making cities as contemplative areas according to her belief: the greatest power of human being is given by introspection and collective wisdom gathered in public spaces; this is the only way to improve our communities and ourselves. “Before I Die” is an interactive public art project that invites people to share their hopes and dreams publicly.

ContestaRockHair presents “GRAFFITI CANVAS“, the exhibition by ninjaz which, hosted by CRH ALBERO during April 2014, is currently  on show at CRH CECIONI in Florence.

ninjaz bio:

Vincenzo Di Martino, alias “ninjaz” born in 1986. An eclectic and creative Florentine artist, protagonist of the Tuscan art and music scene. The founder of “NUMA CREW” in 2005, an electronic group characterized by dubstep and drum&bass rhythm that received several international rewards. In the meantime he develops his pictorial path among the historical clubs of Florence, creating in 2006 the free artists’ association “FUNCOOLCOLOR” with whom he receives the first commissions from Florence and other Communes nearby. In the same year he starts his own handcrafted screen printing production and founds the “8HERTZ”, proposed to be a “communication brand”. In 2007 he continues his handcrafted production through the project and realization of “B00BS” prototype (an adaptor of Long Play Records) in polyurethane resine. In 2007-2008 the electronic project “NUMA” lives its exploit and reaches the underground ambiance of the whole country and of a good part of Europe; known are the concerts in Rome, Milan, Palermo, Catania, Verona, Padua, Turin, Naples, Berlin, Bucarest, Timisoara, Canaries, Seville, Salonicco, Sofia, Amsterdam and London. Actually Numa crew produced 7 LP on vinyl under the label Elastica Records, sold all around the world and characterized by the collaboration with several international artists like Africa Unite, Casinò Royale, Asian Dub Fondation, Zion Train, Tenor fly, DUB FX etc. His multitasking artistic activity allowed him to consciously handle more than one technique, like music, painting, resine sculpture, illustration and graphic communication, serigraphy and tattooing.
