In the heart of the Testaccio district, a stone’s throw from the Testaccio Market and the ex Mattatoio spaces, the luminous ContestaRockHair salon is a multi-functional space par excellence of the ContestaRockHair brand in Rome: the salon is a book shop and continuously hosts art exhibitions.
In the p opular Historical Roman district, the lively Testaccio is the ever more protagonist and expression of playful culture of the Roman panorama. Music, art, food and literature have become the cornerstone of this district between Trastevere, Ostiense and Piramide, a few steps form the former Mattatoio and Poland where as of today important events, festival and exhibitions take place. In Piazza Santa Maria Liberatrice – n° 46, heart of the district, the last ContestaRockHair hairdresser salon in Rome was born just one year ago, enriched by the collaboration with the Minimum Fax Library: a bright and welcoming hairdressing salon and, at the same time, an innovative book store. We can define it a 360° experience where, with open mind and peaceful heart, you can taste a drink, listen to good music or read good books while we are taking care of your hair and look. Guided by an all-female team, CRH Testaccio is the most multifunctional salon of the brand: a space which usually hosts exhibitions and nomadic visual arts projects like “Another Place”: an initiative dedicated to art, literature and music curated by Simona Santopaolo, who was born in Testaccio and that today is involving all the CRH salons all over the world.
