Hair fashion & business show 2010

ROME 10.10.2010 – In October 2010 ContestaRockHair ® organized a show of great prestige in cooperation with Matrix: The Business Hair & Fashion Show that represented the leading event of the year on national level and hosted us on stage as national design team of Matrix during the first day of a two-day convention held at the Auditorium del Massimo in Rome on the 10th and 11th of October. We performed a choreographic-experimental performance where our hair-stylists, from the salons of Rome and Florence, were mixed and challenged at the same time in a late -70s-punk-rock flavour clash, fighting as two New Yorkers rival gangs in a cut-contest and broadcasted live by 6 vjs. The Images projected on screen, combined with our unmistakable hard-rock soundtrack and a modern dance-break ,gave the unique finishing touch. No presentation or statement of intent on the part of     Alessandro and Massimo -the two artistic directors of the brand- to explain the concept of the show: just rock music and the styling we created -make up and outfits included- on the nine models on stage spoke for us. The only introduction to the show was ” Battle of the 70s”, a kind of manifesto displayed at the beginning of the performance.
