2009 – <\/strong> ContestaRockHair is once again involved in a social project teaming up with Zero Impact\u00ae of \u00a0Life Gate<\/a>, an organization geared towards eco awareness and sensibility and concerned with the future of our planet, by embracing the New Year with their Impatto Zero\u00ae program. This is the first program in Italy that seeks to implement the Protocol of the Kyoto Treaty. In our eight salons in Rome we have reduced our carbon dioxide emissions and compensated for the emissions we could not reduce by planting new trees in forests around the world.\u00a0In order to implement this plan, ContestaRockHair commissioned the staff of Impatto Zero\u00ae to estimate the impact that each salon has on the environment in relation to the number of employees, the size of each space, and the average amount of customers. From this study, they were able to estimate the amount of CO2 the company emitted each year into the atmosphere which is approximately 18,500 Kg a year which we will compensate for in 2009 with the creation and protection of 14.8 acres of forest in Costa Rica.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
